And you thought there was nothing to do in Camden Maine during the winter...
The Camden Snow Bowl
Ragged Mountain, otherwise known as the Camden Snow Bowl, is the only ski mountain in the United States that you can see the ocean from. Spectacular views from almost every trail and only 15 minutes from The Spouter Inn. Not a skiier or snowboarder? A tubing trail is also available right next to the slopes.

A small event 12 years ago with roughly 15 tobogganers has turned into an ESPN televised National Championship event with over 200 tobogganers. The shute is also available for the casual ongoer who loves a rollercoaster-like thrill.

Mid-Coast Recreation Center
Bring your ice skates or bring your tennis raquet, the MRC is a great place to spend the afternoon. With an NHL sized sheet of ice, there is plenty of room to skate on even the busiest days. If you don't have skates or forgot them, don't worry because they have rentals. Like to play hockey as well? Bring your pads for men's open hockey. I play every Saturday night!

Other notes of interest:
Sugarloaf, Sunday River and Saddleback ski mountains are only 3 hours away. Take a day trip and enjoy the winter pleasures of Maine as you ski the slopes of some of New England's best ski mountains! When you're done, come back home to The Inn, kick your shoes off and sit by the fire as you reminisce the days events.
